Here are the detailed Stock Appearing Class rules:
BODY
The cars original appearance must be retained.No custom fiberglass panels are allowed.Certain muscle cars came with factory fiberglass hoods or partial fiberglass hoods, Plymouth Road Runners, AMC Scramblers, Dodge Challengers, Corvettes, early Pontiac Trans Ams, early Ford Fairlanes, some Olds 442's, Ford Shelby's, too name just a few. These are okay as long as you have the correct car that it should be mounted on. Repro fiberglass hoods of cars that originally came with fiberglass hoods are okay. No "custom" paint colors, or designs are allowed.
The car must retain the factory stock ride height.
Bumpers must retain original bracing and reinforcements. Any Aluminum bumper brackets found and you will be disqualified
Factory inner fender panels, front and rear, must be retained.
Factory open hood scoops, with ram air must be of original factory design.
No aftermarket or homemade induction units of any kind are allowed!
Batteries must be of stock size and weight, no modern Optima batteries or similar.
The stock original appearance must be retained.No custom or fiberglass replacement panels are allowed.Reproduction panels are OK if made from stock original material, ie: repro fiberglass hood on 440 six-pack.
No "custom" paint colors, designs, or lettering is allowed. Front and rear car height must appear stock.Bumpers, fenders and under hood must retain all stock bracing and reinforcements.NO FIBERGLASS BUMBERS ALLOWED Stock inner fender panels, front and rear, must be retained.
Factory hood scoops, ram air, fresh air induction must appear stock.
Interior seating, trim, and materials must appear BE stock. Complete STOCK Interiors are REQUIRED.No Gutted Interiors made to look stock allowed. Aftermarket tachs and gauges are allowed if mounted on the steering column or under the dash. Stock glass only. NO LEXAN All windows must be functional and closed during all runs.

DRIVETRAIN
Automatic Transmission: Transmission must be a OEM factory available transmission.
Manual Transmission: OEM Factory available 3 or 4 speeds only. No aftermarket shifters allowed.
Scattersheilds are OK. Line Locks are OK.
Rear Axles: The rear axle must be of the same manufacturer as the car. Pinion snubbers and clamping of leaf springs are allowed on leaf spring cars. Replacement boxed lower control arms on coil spring cars okay. Sub Frame connectors to strenghten the chassis of leaf spring cars okay. No ladder bars.
Aftermarket shocks, springs and bushings are okay as long as you mantain a factory look. You must maintain the factory level ride height and stance.
You must appear to have stock suspension. No traction bars allowed.

TIRES & WHEELS
You can use either bias ply tires or street radial tires. But they must have complete street treads. No tires that require tubes. You are allowed to have up to 15" wheels and tires widened to the 60 series. This means if your car came with 14's or 15" bias plys you can run up to 15" street radials if you would like. You may run a maximum street 60 series tire size of G-60 or 245/60R15, or you may run a maximum street 70 series tire size of G-70 or 225/70R15. If you use G-60-15 tires they MUST fit easily into your fenderwells, no jacked up rear ends. Your car must maintain a level stance.

IGNITION
The ignition system must appear correct, including the distributor, distributor cap and coil. Coil must be retained in the correct factory location and look stock. Spark plug wires must be black or correct factory color, 8mm maximum diameter, have no aftermarket lettering on them.
Points may be replaced with electronic conversion kits that fit under the cap. Hidden MSD's are allowed. A factory looking correct distributor is required, this means no obvious MSD looking distributors. No bright orange/yellow colored distributors. Upgrades to HEI allowed

CAMSHAFT
Valve covers must be OEM correct for your car. Any aftermarket cam is allowed. Your car has to be able to idle in gear at 900 rpm.

INTAKE & CARB
The carburetor type must be correct.If your car came with a quadrajet carb, you MUST have a quadrajet carb present now .If your car came with a Holley Carb, you MUST have a comparable CFM Holley carb.You CANNOT have a Holley carb bigger than 850 CFM. Your carb must look like a factory carb. You must have a choke horn on your carb. No Dominators, No Demons, etc. Factory Looking Carburetion Only
The stock mechanical fuel pump must be retained. No fuel pressure gauges are allowed. Factory type fuel lines are required. No rubber lines allowed. Braided lines are frowned upon but okay the first time. Electric fuel pumps allowed but must be hidden.
All qualifying and race runs must be done with the air filter housing and an air filter in place.Carb spacers taller than 1/2" are not allowed. PCV valve must be in place and working
No aftermarket aluminum intakes If you have an aftermarket intake aluminum manifold on your car you will be put in MCE class.Your Intake Manifold must have been available as a factory option in your particular car. But they do not have to be numbers matching.

CYLINDER HEADS
Original OEM Cylinder heads only from the period 1960-1975. No aftermarket heads. No later superseded OEM replacements. Absolutely NO Aluminum heads.If you have an aftermarket aluminum head on your car you will be put in MCE class. Unless your car came from the factory with them and you can prove it. Your Cylinder Heads must have been available as a factory option in your particular car.
Cylinder Heads and Intake Manifold MUST be stock OEM casting, have stock original casting numbers and be of stock original material.
No dual plug heads original or aftermarket. NO Aluminum Heads Period.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT
The engine compartment and engine assembly, including accessories, must appear stock. Appearance of the engine will be inspected with the air filter housing off and on. Removal of pollution control air pump is allowed. Engine torque strap OK. Engine color should appear stock.Valve covers must be stock. Maximum of 2 OEM type gaskets under each valve cover allowed.
The battery must be retained in the stock location, be functional and securely tightened down with an original style hold down. Original looking batteries are required. Replacement batteries are OK. The charging system must be fully operational at all times.Under hood wiring should appear stock.
Lightweight mini starters OK. If painted to appear as stock as possible. Aftermarket harmonic balancers are OK, if painted to appear stock. All pulleys must be stock.Belts running the water pump and alternator must be retained at all times.

No aftermarket blocks allowed, no superceded factory blocks allowed. Factory original blocks only from the periods 1960-1975

Exhaust
Cast iron exhaust manifolds are mandatory and must be from period 1960- 1975.
Under no circumstances will headers be allowed, including those cars that had headers delivered in the trunk
Exhaust systems may be upgraded to a maximum of 2.5" diameter head and tail pipes. Certain cars such as 63' Max Wedge Plymouths & some SD Pontiacs had 3" exhaust outlets & head pipes, these are allowed if your car originally came with them. Pipes must exit in the correct* original location. Mufflers must be stock looking in design, that is oval in shape.
No glasspacks or straight-through pipes allowed. Excessive exhaust leaks are not allowed.
X-pipes and H-pipes allowed You must run full exhausts at all times. No Cutouts.
If you think your exhaust sounds too loud it probably is, and will not be legal.
